Message from the President of the Sri Lanka Spinal Cord Network

It is with great pleasure I announce the 13th Annual Academic Sessions of the Sri Lanka Spinal Cord Network under the auspices of the College of Specialists in Rheumatology & Rehabilitation Sri Lanka, the South Asian Surgical Care Society (SASCS), and the College of Surgeons of Sri Lanka in accordance to the theme of ““Essentials of Disability Care Based on Comprehensive Management of Spinal Cord Injuries” & “Role of General Public on Disability Care & Surgical Disease”.

The first day (28th of November) of the program will be for medical officers, nursing officers, and therapists, including the healthcare personnel dealing with disability care.
The second day (29th of November) session will be for the general public, school teachers, police officers, Community leaders, gram-niladaris, and any other interested individuals.

The scientific program is conducted by experts in the field of health care. The knowledge gained will be of immense value in the care of persons with disabilities, not only within hospitals but also for disability care within the home setup. Hence, I invite interested parties to join in person to make it a success.
